I’m Morana, a sailboat captain and sailing teacher, with a small sailboat and unique day trips that I offer from Korcula. I have 26 years of experience in the Adriatic, Central Mediterranean, Atlantic and Caribbean. I give my clients experience that introduces them to the world of sailing, with supervised hands-on learning to sail, while also exploring the stunning surroundings of Korcula, sailing among the beautiful little islands in Peljesac channel and swimming in turquoise waters by Gubavac, anchored far away from the crowds. During the trip, you sail among a maze of charming little islands nearby the island of Korcula, with a view to a majestic mountain of Peljesac, and visit one or more of these islets. The boat will anchor there, in turquoise waters of a natural uninhabited bay or shoal, for swimming in the crystal clear sea, away from the crowds. You have the opportunity to learn about winds, weather and the ecosystem, the sailboat, how sailing works, and get a hands-on experience in sailing. Whether you are new to the world of sailing or a seasoned sailor, you participate and learn as much or as little as you feel like, under the expert guidance and supervision of an experienced sailing teacher and captain. Advanced lessons are also possible, as well as just a lazy ride, enjoying the beauty of the scenery. In other words, Sailing Korcula day trips are flexible and tailored to your wishes. They combine hands-on learning about sailing, and relaxing under the sails. You explore the Korcula’s corner of the famously beautiful Adriatic sea in a safe, relaxed and engaging way.
