Duty-free shopping launches at Teos Marina for international passengers

Teos Marina has introduced a duty-free shopping service at its passenger terminal, operated by IDF Duty Free, according to a report by Vira Haber. The new store enables travellers to make duty-free purchases both when leaving Turkey and when returning from abroad.

New service at the passenger terminal

The IDF Duty Free outlet is located within the Teos Marina Yolcu Terminali. It offers a wide product range that includes internationally recognised perfume and cosmetic brands, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, chocolate, gourmet foods, gift items, and travel essentials. The service is available to passengers using IDO’s fast catamaran services, which carry tens of thousands of travellers each year.

Teos Marina General Manager Faruk Günlü commented on the development, stating: “While interest in the Samos services increases every year, we continue to develop the services we offer our guests in the same direction. With IDF Duty Free starting to serve at our Passenger Terminal, our passengers will be able to do their duty-free shopping comfortably both when they go abroad and when they return to Turkey. We believe this new service will add value to the travel experience that starts from Teos Marina.”

Growing international gateway

According to Vira Haber, Teos Marina has become one of the busiest international sea crossing points in the Aegean region in recent years. The marina hosts thousands of domestic and international guests each season, supported by IDO’s comfortable and fast Samos services, a modern passenger terminal, easy transport links, and a passenger-focused service approach.

The addition of the IDF Duty Free store further expands the range of services available at the marina, enhancing the international travel experience for passengers transiting through the terminal.

IDF Duty Free is described as operating in the duty-free business at international border gates. Its arrival at Teos Marina marks a new convenience for travellers using the route between Turkey and the Greek island of Samos.
